Born in the south of France, french-danish photographer Erwann Petersen centers his artistic practice around the exploration of still life. Taking inspiration from old family photo albums, his work is tied from a retro-elegant perspective; his attention to details can encounter technical or hidden messages.

His personal series Chromax , explores what could have been still life photography from its beginning. Erwann has travelled around the world to capture his vision on the ordinary, cultural narratives and lifestyle, and has contributed for clients such as Dolce & Gabbana, Guerlain, Mytheresa, Saint Laurent, Evaneos, and The Boveda.
 Erwann lives in Paris.
